2017-2018 Seasonal Snowmobile Trail Permit Info

Enjoy the convenience of buying your permit wherever and whenever you choose! 

Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permits are available online, providing you with enhanced security, flexibility and convenience.

2017-2018 Permit Fees

All seasonal trail permit fees are plus $7.50 per permit processing fee

  • Seasonal trail permit EARLY BUY 1 (on or before November 1st) – $190.00
  • Seasonal trail permit EARLY BUY 2 (on or before December 1st) – $220.00
  • Seasonal trail permit (December 2nd onwards) – $270.00
  • Multi-Day Permit – Buy, print and ride! (Two consecutive day minimum) – $35 per day.

2017-2018 Classic Permits

Dust off that older ride! For the 2017-2018 season, sleds 1999 and older are eligible.

All seasonal trail permit fees are plus $7.50 per permit processing fee

  • Classic Permit (on or before December 1st) – $150.00
  • Classic Permit (December 2nd onwards) – $180.00

 Permit Placement & Additional Information

  • The Trail Permit is valid only when permanently affixed to the bottom edge of the center of the windshield, or on top and to the left of centre of the engine cowling as close as possible to the centre of the windshield, without obscuring or being obscured by the registration number required to be displayed on the vehicle.
  • OFSC Trail Permits are valid only in the province of Ontario and may be used to access any open or limited Prescribed Trails operated by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs unless otherwise specified.
